Chocolate Bars

A cousin of mine had just returned from a trip to Canada, and he brought some chocolate bars. Yeah, a weird choice of souvenir, I know. Especially when you can actually find those here. Well he didn't buy the exact chocolate bars pictured above but still the common brands like Cadbury, Hershey's, Mars, y'know... the usual.

There were flavors which I've never tried before so I opened a few. That's when I discovered, despite being someone who loves chocolate,..... I don't like chocolate bars. I like chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, chocolate milkshake, hot chocolate, but not chocolate bars. 

I dunno why. They just taste extremely sweet with all the peanut butter, and nougat, and caramel and.... stuff. Were they always like this? I don't recall them being this sweet when I was a kid. 0_o 

In the end I couldn't finish them. I guess from now on I'll refrain myself from buying these kinds of chocolate bars and stick with the plain ones like dark chocolate and the like.

...and maybe the ones with liquor in them, ha ha.
