...or the start of a new one, as one might put it.
I've finished reading all the Chronicles of Narnia. Miraculously, I finished reading The Last Battle in less than six hours (yes, for someone like me, this is quite an achievement). I say, the whole series was an enjoyable reading experience. It's interesting how books can trigger all sorts of different emotions, huh? The ending of this book (although I had guesses at some point) was pretty surprising for me. Took me awhile to take all in and it certainly left me with plenty of things to think about during chores (which I spent the rest of my day doing).
After reading all of them, I must say that my favorite will still be The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Probably because there were Christmas, the magical gifts, the four Pevensies, and of course, Aslan's frequent presence.
Wow! Even I think that sounded pretty naïve.........Oh who cares anyway! :D
My next favorite will have to be The Magician's Nephew. Basically because there's a lot of magical things going on which I can't really visualize. A bit curious about the movie on this one (if there ever will be). I'm curious about how they would interpret things.
Something I would definitely be reading again in the future. After all, it's a shame to leave such a collection go to waste. Don't you agree? C:
I love the way the series ends. ^^ It's just so... "nice"? XD That's too boring a word, but I think you know what I mean. XD As for Favorites, that's tough, but probably Horse and His Boy, along with Dawn Treader. Plus the very end of Last Battle. I'm really curious to see how they pull off the last two books they're doing in movie form. :P
ReplyDeleteWell The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will be coming out soon. Since it's one of your favorites, let's hope it turns out good.
