3D Modeling

This term's 3D Modeling theme was Sports Car: Underground (meh). I'm not into automotive myself, but if I had to choose then yeah, it has gotta be the Lamborghini, so Lamborghini Gallardo 2007 was my pick. I also took some progressive screenshots of this project at the request of several curious friends over at FA.

So these are some of the main steps I went through making this:

 1. Model the basic shape of your blueprint.
 2. Sculpt in the details and separate the elements accordingly.

(During this step you'll need a heck of patience, diligence, and a good moral support.)
 3. Mirror the finished project and weld the center line.
 4. Model in the interior of the car.

(Take time to admire your work, yaaay! Cuz I'm sure you've lost half your sanity by this point)
 5. Apply the materials according to the textures and add light to the light bulbs.
 6. Customize it with neon lights underneath and stickers to taste your liking.

Yeah. your favorite part, I know.
7. Add the background and choose your camera lens. Set the angle.

Add the exterior lighting + ambient occlusion + environment reflection + lotsaa loooove ♥♥♥

Render each of them and compile them via Photoshop.

Huzzah, you're done!
Note to self:
(!) Next time, kick the neon lights to top notch to avoid getting overlapped by the shadows of other lights.
(!) Try to find out how to discard those dots of light on the front machine cap. Seriously, it's disturbing!
